These ricotta donuts have been a real surprise! I saw the recipe here and had intrigued me, but I was afraid that prove a disappointment. And instead, these donuts without leavening have nothing to envy to the classic ones, and for those who have little time but still want to make a cake today to celebrate Father's Day, this recipe is really perfect. Today actually traditionally prepare the donuts of St. Joseph, but I doubt that I will have time today to do them, Ivano Alabardieri has a conference in the building (yes, another conference and as well on Saturday !!!) and I think it will opt for these ricotta and orange. Makes about 20 donuts:
350 grams of flour 00
250 g cheese
120 grams of sugar
1 egg
juice and peel of 1 orange (about 80 ml)
2 teaspoons baking powder
seed oil

How to make donuts with ricotta

Put in a bowl the flour, cottage cheese, egg, juice and zest of the orange, sugar and baking powder.
